Internet Implementation Consultant (banking) for International Direct Banking unit of a large global bank. This unit is offering simple financial products and services to consumers using the internet as its only channel. IDB has more than 300,000 customers in four countries.
The core business of International Direct Banking (IDB) is to start-up and run internet banks over the globe. Responsibilities Internet Implementation Consultant (banking)
We are looking for a fulltime (40 hours a week) Internet Implementation Consultant (banking) with project management skills who will be working within the Shared Services Team. You will work on the banking and customer facing systems (contact centre application, campaign management system, and marketing database) which are shared across the current operational banks.
Your main role will be to support the continuing improvement in our customer facing applications (FEE) in both functional and technical perspective. This means that your role will cover both project managing the FEE releases and a technical liaison role where you can use your technical expertise and experience (architecture/design/interfaces) in conjunction with our external development partners, vendors and IDB.
This role will rely on your development skills and technical experience and give you the basis to function as a technical project manager and system owner towards our partners and vendors.
Secondly, you will be part of our team who will support our countries with the usage of our FEE applications.
As part of your job you could be requested to work on the start-up of future direct banks.
You could also be asked to support our IDB banks at their local offices on occasions and to perform part of your activities outside European office hours and weekends.
Requirements Internet Implementation Consultant (banking)

• Knowledge of system development methods and release/project organisation 


• Knowledge of technology background in Web/customer facing related technologies like:
  .Net framework, Web services, MS SQL (database and SQL queries), Solid understanding of relational database models, NHibernate, Log4Net, Application design, Web architecture and interfaces.
  Required experience: 


• Proven experience in a banking or financial environment 


• At least 5 years of experience in a technology background (developer/designer/architect) 


• Project Management skills (Prince 2)
